Kick in the butt needed!

Okay guys, I need a kick in the rear. Yesterday I helped a friend with moving and didn't get my exercise thing done. Then after getting home I realized that another friend had left the remains of a box of doughnuts here. I felt somewhat safe because they weren't chocolate ones, but it was the first time I have had any junk food in the house for a long time. Before the night was over, I had eaten all four of those doughnuts. It was not my free day either! Now today, I don't want to exercise. I don't know why, but it seems I always hit a point in my diet roller coaster where I almost self sabotage. I need someone to give me a kick in the rear and get me going again.....so go ahead....be as mean as you have to.

Mean? I don't think so! What you need is to give yourself a big ol' talking to! You are worth more than any donut! Donuts are the enemy....they stole your umph. So, now we've got to get you some new umph.

The way I get remotivated is to list why I'm wanting to lose weight in the first place...you've lost sight of why you're doing it. If we all did it just for our health....we'd never lose a pound. But, if we're doing it to look good, feel good about ourselves....wear that little something that we know we will just look so good in....for me I wanna know that I can go into any restaurant and fit in their chairs or a booth...

So....why are you doing this? What are the benefits? What's your goal?

We all know weight can be lost....but what we gain by losing it can be lost in the struggle to get the pounds off.

What's your motivation?

Honey, we are not here to kick you in the but. We are here to encourage you and be your shoulder, backbone, or whatever it is that you need to help get you by.

We arent here to be mean or demeaning. We, like you, slip and have our weak moments. In fact, my weakness tonight was Mexican food.. Oh how I love mexican food and since I havent had a dinner with DA in over a week I had him meet me at our favorite Mexican rest. and I gorged myself. Mind you, I have been eating so little lately that it didnt take much to stuff my gut however, I am pretty sure that the chips, salsa, rice, beans, bloody mary and Sea food Chimichanga arent a part of my diet. I will make up for it tomorrow. I hope.
Keep your thoughts happy and positive. Thats my only advice today.
Yay-Yay!

You guys are great! I think just writing and admitting my slip helped. I got back with the program yesterday and did three days of exercise in one. I followed my diet all day long and didn't feel a bit deprived, I have done alright again today too. I really think that I will get busy and post my pics soon. I just was hoping for more of a change than I have seen so far and I am so embarrassed by those before pics. EEKS!
